The pandemic has forced us to dwindle our celebrations to a minimum. Weddings and life events are one industry that was severely affected. But as they say, when life gives you lemons, you should make some lemonades. In the case of Jay and Marian, the bitterness of this event brewed their happiness with their favorite drink coffee at their favorite place on their wedding day.
Jay and Marian have set their wedding for May 2020. But due to the Taal eruption and pandemic lockdown restrictions, the couple needed to go through many changes – rebooking to an accessible ceremony venue, and from outdoor to indoor reception space and postponing to a later date. In the end, they also decided to fix the final date with a few family members and close friends.
To still be part of the couple’s milestone, other guests watched the couple’s union via a Livestream. They described the ceremony as intimate and focused on the importance of marriage. There were many happy tears shed during that day, and the couple couldn’t ask for a better one.
